MediaRange MR911-2 — Two 32 GB Swivel Drives on One Card
2-pack of 32 GB drivesUSB 2.017 MB/s read / 7 MB/s writeMetal swivel, no cap
The MediaRange MR911-2 is a two-pack: two separate 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drives, each with a metal swivel housing and no cap, supplied together on one blister card. MediaRange publishes both speeds per drive — up to 17 MB/s read and up to 7 MB/s write — and each drive weighs about 12 g. They arrive pre-formatted FAT32.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is two drives of 32 GB each, not one drive of 64 GB. Each stick is separate and stores 32 GB; there is no pooling. ???? The article to be careful of is MR911 without the suffix — that is the same drive sold singly. Same family name, same swivel housing, same colour, same capacity: the -2 is the only thing that tells you there are two in the box, and listings routinely show single-drive photographs against two-pack titles. Check the article number and the EAN. Two further points. These are USB 2.0 drives, and at 7 MB/s write that is slow: filling one 32 GB stick from empty is well over an hour. They are made for handing out, not for regularly copying to. And the official colour is silver and black — some listings reverse or rename it. They are USB Type-A and will not plug into a phone without an adapter, which is not supplied.
Best For
✓ Handing out files at an event, a class or a conference
✓ Giving two people their own drive from one purchase
✓ Keeping matched drives for firmware, boot or configuration files
✓ A drawer stock of cheap sticks you will not mind losing
✓ Older computers, car stereos and equipment with USB 2.0 ports
✓ Anyone who has lost a cap and wants a swivel instead
Key Features
Two drives, one purchase
Two separate 32 GB sticks on a single blister card. The economics are the point: one order, two drives, and no negotiating over who gets it.
Metal swivel housing
An aluminium swivel over an ABS body. The bail rotates to cover the connector, so there is no cap to lose, and it doubles as somewhere to thread a keyring.
Both speeds published
MediaRange states up to 17 MB/s read and up to 7 MB/s write for the 32 GB capacity itself, not as a family maximum. Many brands at this price publish nothing at all.
Ready to use, FAT32
Pre-formatted FAT32 and plug-and-play on Windows, macOS and Linux with no driver and no software. Hand one over and it works.

Singular Expert Insight
Multipacks solve a problem single drives do not: the moment you need to give two people a file at once, or seed two machines with the same installer. At 32 GB and USB 2.0 these are not drives you would buy as your own main stick — 7 MB/s write is slow — but that is not the job. The job is having two cheap, cap-free, metal-swivel drives you will not mind not getting back. MediaRange deserves credit for publishing both speeds honestly at this price when most brands publish nothing. The one thing to check twice is the article number, because the single-drive MR911 sits right beside it. If you want one good drive rather than two modest ones, our USB flash drives range has considerably faster options, and for anything you work from rather than hand over, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need two cheap drives at once for handouts, colleagues or a pair of machines, and 32 GB each at USB 2.0 speed is genuinely enough for the files involved.
Skip it if
You want one drive rather than two, you need more than 32 GB in one place, or you will be copying to the drives regularly — 7 MB/s write will test your patience.
Also consider
MediaRange MR911 if you want a single drive rather than a two-pack. MediaRange MR910-3 for three 16 GB drives instead. A USB 3 model from our range if speed matters.
