Microchip PDS-204GCO Outdoor IP67 Managed PoE Switch, 4x Gigabit 802.3bt 90W Ports, 2x 2.5G SFP, AC Input, Pole Mount

The Microchip PDS-204GCO/AC is a sealed IP67 outdoor managed PoE switch with four Gigabit RJ45 ports delivering IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 power (up to 90 W per port, 150 W total) and two SFP ports for 100M, 1G or 2.5G fibre uplinks, powered directly from 100–240 V AC. It is designed to sit on a pole or wall next to the devices it powers — outdoor Wi-Fi access points, PTZ and multi-sensor cameras, small cells and smart-city sensors.

Putting the switch outdoors next to the load avoids long copper runs from a building and replaces separate outdoor PoE injectors and a weatherproof cabinet with a single managed unit.

• Powers four high-draw outdoor devices at up to 90 W each, within 150 W total — e.g. two PTZ cameras with heaters plus two access points.
• The 2.5G SFP uplink carries multi-gig Wi-Fi traffic back over fibre, so distance to the building is no longer a limit.
• 6 kV surge protection on AC and data lines and NEMA 4X / corrosion-resistant housing for exposed sites.
• Fully managed: web (HTTPS), CLI over SSH, SNMP v2/v3 with PoE MIB, VLANs, ring protection (G.8032) and per-port PoE control for remote power-cycling.

• The 150 W budget does not cover four devices at the full 90 W simultaneously.
• It does not run on DC or receive PoE power — it needs AC mains at the pole.
• It is not a router and does not stack or support cloud management.
• Operating temperature tops out at +50 °C; avoid direct-sun enclosures in hotter locations without shading.
