Mobilis Bike Backpack – Pannier 25L — 14–15.6″ Laptop, Black
Backpack and rear-rack pannierWaterproof tarpaulin, taped seams25 L roll-top, 15.6″ laptop bayReflective element
The Mobilis 070001 is a 25-litre bike bag that works two ways: wear it as a backpack, or mount it on the rear luggage rack of a bicycle as a pannier. It is built from waterproof tarpaulin with taped seams — the seams are the part most bags get wrong — and closes with a roll-top and velcro, so the opening stays out of the rain. Inside there is a reinforced compartment for laptops up to 15.6 inches, and outside there is a reflective element for visibility, an anti-tilt strap to stop the bag swaying on the rack, a side pocket and a pocket on the shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is removable and a chest strap takes the weight off your shoulders when you ride. Mobilis lists it at 1348 g. The reference is 070001. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The rack mounting system is universal for rear luggage racks — your bicycle needs a rear rack fitted for the pannier mode to be usable. Without one it still works perfectly well as a backpack. On water protection, Mobilis specifies the material as waterproof tarpaulin with taped seams, which is a stronger claim than most bags in this category, but publishes no IP rating and no hydrostatic-head figure, and the range header itself softens to “water resistance” — so treat it as genuinely rain-ready rather than submersible. There is no rain cover, because the body is the waterproof layer. Note also that Mobilis prints its dimension strings without axis labels; our reading is given in the specification table. Mobilis publishes no warranty term and no recycled percentage for this reference — the recycled figures on other Mobilis ranges do not apply here.
Best For
✓ Bicycle commuting with a 15.6″ work laptop
✓ Riders who want one bag for the rack and for their back
✓ Wet-weather commuting where taped seams matter
✓ Carrying 25 litres of kit without a car
✓ Being visible on unlit roads thanks to the reflective element
✓ Anyone tired of a backpack swinging on the descent
Key Features
Backpack and pannier in one bag
A universal mounting system attaches it to a rear luggage rack, and an anti-tilt strap stops it swaying while you ride. Take it off the rack and the removable shoulder strap plus chest strap turn it back into a backpack for the walk from the bike rack to the desk.
Waterproof tarpaulin with taped seams
Mobilis specifies the material as waterproof tarpaulin and, crucially, states that the seams are taped — the detail that separates a bag that keeps rain out from one that leaks along the stitching. No separate rain cover is needed or supplied.
Roll-top over a reinforced laptop bay
The 25-litre main compartment closes with a roll-top and velcro, keeping the opening away from spray, and a reinforced compartment inside protects a laptop of up to 15.6 inches. Interior space is roughly 450 x 340 x 180 mm.
Details aimed at riders
A reflective element helps drivers see you, a pocket on the shoulder strap keeps a phone or keys within reach without stopping, and a side pocket takes the things you need at a traffic light. Total weight is 1348 g.

Singular Expert Insight
Most “bike backpacks” are ordinary backpacks with a reflective strip sewn on. This one is a pannier that happens to convert, and the details show it: the rack mount, the anti-tilt strap, the taped seams, the shoulder-strap pocket you can reach at a red light. The trade-off is weight — 1348 g is heavy for 25 litres, which is what waterproof tarpaulin costs you. If you ride occasionally and mostly walk, a lighter pack with an included rain cover, such as the Rivacase Dijon 5321, will serve you better. If you ride every day and arrive with a laptop that has to still work, this is the more serious tool. One caveat: Mobilis publishes no warranty term at all, so our own cover is what stands behind it. Browse the rest of our laptop cases and backpacks, or the laptops range if you are matching a machine to a bag.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You commute by bicycle with a 15.6″ laptop, you have or will fit a rear rack, and you want waterproof tarpaulin with taped seams, an anti-tilt strap and a reflective element in a 25-litre bag that also works on your back.
Skip it if
You have no rear rack and only want a light backpack — 1348 g is heavy for 25 litres. Also skip it if you need a published warranty term or a documented recycled content; Mobilis publishes neither for this reference.
Also consider
Mobilis 070002 double pannier if you want 2 x 15 L on the rack and no laptop bay, Mobilis 070003 for a handlebar bag, or the Rivacase Dijon 5321 for a lighter 25 L roll-top with an included rain cover and a bike light clip.
