Mobilis 016447 Privacy Filter — keep a 12.3-inch 3:2 screen private in trains, cafés and open offices
Privacy filter12.3" 3:2Magnetic & removableTouch compatible
The Mobilis 016447 is a magnetic, removable privacy filter for 12.3-inch screens with a 3:2 aspect ratio (277.3 x 197.13 mm), for professionals who work on public transport, in cafés or in open-plan offices and do not want neighbours reading their screen.
Only the person sitting directly in front sees the content; people to the left or right see a dark screen. The filter is reversible — glossy for better clarity or matt to reduce glare and fingerprints — and works with most touchscreens.
Before you order: Size matters: this filter is cut for a 12.3-inch 3:2 display (active area 277.3 x 197.13 mm). It will not fit 13.3-inch 16:9/16:10 laptops or other 12-inch formats — measure your screen or send us the model.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Mobilis 016447 privacy filter (12.3", 3:2)
- Installation kit: cleaning wipes, microfibre cloth, dust protection
- Two attachment systems — for screens with and without a bezel
What It Means in Practice
- Side privacy only: people beside you see a dark screen, the person in front sees normally.
- Magnetic and removable — take it off in the office, put it back on for the train.
- Choose the glossy side for sharper image or the matt side to cut reflections and fingerprints.
- Stays usable on most touchscreens, so you can keep tapping and writing with the filter on.
What Will Not Work
- Screens that are not 12.3-inch 3:2 — the filter is size-specific.
- It does not hide the screen from someone standing directly behind you; protection is to the sides.
- Expect a slightly darker image; you may need to raise screen brightness.
- Not a protective glass — it is not designed to stop drops or impacts.
