Mouse pads for offices, home desks and gaming: standard fabric and PVC pads, gel and foam pads with wrist rest, antibacterial (Microban) pads for shared desks, photo pads, and large gaming and desk mats that hold the keyboard and mouse. From Fellowes, Logitech, Sharkoon, LogiLink, Kensington, Cherry, INCA and Trust.
How to choose a mouse pad
- Comfort. A pad with a gel or foam wrist rest keeps the wrist straight during long working days. Match it with a keyboard wrist rest for a complete ergonomic setup.
- Size. Standard pads (around 22 x 18 cm) suit office work; large and XL desk mats give room for low-sensitivity gaming and hold both keyboard and mouse.
- Surface. Fabric surfaces give control and are comfortable; hard surfaces are faster and easy to wipe. A non-slip rubber base keeps the pad in place.
- Shared desks. Antibacterial pads and wipe-clean surfaces suit hot desks and clinics.
