The equip 650336 swings a television out from the wall by up to 170 degrees at the press of a button, with a remote control that stores preset positions, so a screen mounted in a corner or on a side wall can be turned to face wherever people are actually sitting. It takes screens from 32 to 75 in weighing up to 50 kg, sits only 56 mm off the wall when closed, and includes a collision avoidance system so the arm stops rather than striking a wall or a cabinet.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a powered mount, so plan for two things a manual bracket does not need: a mains socket within reach of the supplied power adapter, and enough clear space for the screen to sweep through 170° without meeting a wall, a beam or furniture. equip specifies installation into a solid wall or a single stud — on hollow construction your installer must confirm the fixing can carry both the 7.38 kg mount and the screen with the leverage of a fully extended powered arm.
