The Zebra CBA-U03-S07ZAR is a straight 7 ft (2.1 m) USB cable with a Power Plus (PoweredUSB) host connector, used to connect a Zebra (formerly Symbol/Motorola) scanner with a detachable cable to the powered USB port of a retail POS terminal. Zebra lists it in its universal cable table as "Cable - USB: Power Plus connector, 7 ft (2 m) straight".
With PoweredUSB, the terminal supplies the scanner's power through the same plug, so there is no external power supply at the checkout. This is the cable POS installers use when the terminal has a powered USB port free and they want a clean counter.
Before you order: The Power Plus plug only fits a PoweredUSB port on a POS terminal (e.g. Toshiba/IBM, NCR, Diebold Nixdorf). It does NOT fit a normal PC USB-A port. Zebra does not state the voltage of this ZAR version in its table; the explicitly 12 V shielded version is CBA-U23-S07ZBR — send us the terminal and scanner model and we will confirm which one you need.
