The MSI MAG 345CQRF E20 is a 34-inch 21:9 curved gaming monitor with a 3440x1440 UWQHD Rapid VA panel, a 200Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms GtG response, built for PC gamers who want an immersive ultrawide view for racing, simulation and shooters at a mid-range budget.
The tight 1000R curve wraps the image around your field of view, AMD FreeSync Premium removes tearing, and the stand adjusts for height (100mm), tilt and swivel. Two HDMI 2.0b ports with console VRR and HDMI-CEC let a PS5 or Xbox share the screen with the PC, and PIP/PBP shows two sources side by side.
Before you order: 200Hz at 3440x1440 needs DisplayPort; over HDMI the monitor runs UWQHD at up to 100Hz. A DP cable is included, an HDMI cable is not. There is no USB-C input.

What It Means in Practice
- Connect your graphics card by DisplayPort to get the full 200Hz.
- The 1000R curve is more pronounced than 1500R/1800R — very immersive in games, but straight lines in spreadsheets look slightly bent.
- Consoles connect over HDMI with VRR support; PS5 and Xbox Series output at their own 16:9 resolutions on the 21:9 panel.
- VESA 100x100 lets you move it to an arm later.
What Will Not Work
- Laptops that output video only over USB-C need an adapter — there is no USB-C input.
- 200Hz is not reachable over HDMI.
- There are no built-in speakers; use the headphone out or desktop speakers.
- The stand has no pivot (portrait) rotation.
