The MSI PRO B550-S WIFI6E is an ATX motherboard for AMD Ryzen processors on socket AM4, built on the B550 chipset. It supports Ryzen 3000, 4000 G-Series, 5000 and 5000 G-Series desktop CPUs, four DDR4 slots up to 128GB, a PCIe 4.0 x16 graphics slot and a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot from the CPU.
Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 come pre-installed, so the PC can go online without a cable, and a 1G LAN port is there for wired use. It is a sensible base for office, home and entry gaming AM4 builds or for upgrading an older AM4 system.
Before you order: The HDMI output only works with a Ryzen CPU that has integrated graphics (G-Series); with a standard Ryzen you need a graphics card. Memory is DDR4 only — DDR5 modules will not fit. Wi-Fi 6E 6 GHz needs Windows 11 and depends on local regulations.

- No 2.5G LAN — the wired port is 1 Gbps.
