The MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI II is an ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 with the B850 chipset, made for Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 desktop processors in gaming and all-round builds.
It offers four DDR5 slots (up to 256GB, EXPO), a PCIe 5.0 x16 graphics slot, four M.2 sockets — two of them PCIe 5.0 x4 from the CPU — Realtek 5G LAN, Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4, ALC4080 audio and eight fan/pump headers.
Before you order: Using the M2_3 socket drops the PCI_E3 slot to x2 (you can force x4 in BIOS, which disables M2_3). Ryzen 8000 processors run the main slot at PCIe 4.0 x8 or x4. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 need Windows 11 24H2.
