The MSI PRO B860M-P WIFI6E (part number 7F01-001R) is a Micro-ATX motherboard with the Intel B860 chipset and LGA1851 socket for Intel Core Ultra 200S (Series 2) desktop processors. It combines four DDR5 slots, a PCIe 5.0 x16 graphics slot, a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5G LAN — a solid base for office, business and mid-range gaming builds.
It suits system builders and businesses who want current Intel connectivity in a compact mATX case without paying for Z890 overclocking features. Legacy COM and LPT headers make it a practical choice for office and industrial PCs that still use serial or parallel devices.
Before you order: LGA1851 only: Intel Core Ultra 200S (Series 2) desktop processors. 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Core (LGA1700) CPUs do not fit. The video outputs work only with a CPU that has integrated graphics.

- Four DDR5 slots: up to 256 GB, JEDEC up to 6400 MT/s, XMP 3.0 profiles up to 8800+ MT/s with one single-rank module per channel (two modules per channel run lower, around 5600+).
- Two NVMe drives: M.2_1 PCIe 5.0 x4 from the CPU and M.2_2 PCIe 4.0 x4 from the chipset, plus 4 SATA ports with RAID 0/1/5/10.
- A front USB-C (5 Gbps) header is on board — useful if your case has a Type-C port.
- Video out: HDMI 2.1, 2 × DisplayPort 1.4 and VGA, up to 4K 60 Hz, when using a CPU with integrated graphics.
What Will Not Work
- No LGA1700 (12th–14th Gen Core) processors.
- No CPU overclocking — that needs a Z890 board.
- The 6 GHz Wi-Fi band needs Windows 11 and is subject to country regulations.
- Only 2 PCIe expansion slots — not the board for builds with several add-in cards.
