The MSI SPATIUM M480 PRO 2TB (part number S78-440Q600-P83) is a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD rated up to 7,400 MB/s read and 7,000 MB/s write — one of the fastest drives you can put in a Gen4 slot.

It combines the proven Phison E18 controller with 2GB DDR4 DRAM cache and 3D NAND, and is rated for 1,400 TB written with a 5-year warranty.

Compatibility note: Runs at full speed in any PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot; in PCIe 3.0 slots it is limited to about 3,500 MB/s. For PlayStation 5 use it needs a heatsink, which is not included.
