The Nanoxia NX42A30R is a 30 cm red, individually sleeved adapter that takes power from a 4-pin Molex peripheral connector of your PC power supply and feeds two 3-pin case fans.
It is the classic fix when the motherboard has run out of fan headers or when you want extra fans to run at a constant speed directly from the PSU. The single-sleeve finish — every wire wrapped separately in red — is made to look good behind a windowed side panel and to match other Nanoxia sleeved cables.
Before you order: Fans powered this way run at a fixed speed: there is no speed control from the motherboard and no RPM signal back to the BIOS. Your PSU must still have a free 4-pin Molex connector.

What It Means in Practice
- Two extra fans run as soon as the PC switches on, independent of the motherboard fan headers.
- Without speed control the fans spin at their constant rated speed — choose quiet fans if noise matters.
- Useful for fans placed far from the motherboard, e.g. front intake fans fed from a nearby Molex lead.
- The red sleeve suits builds with a red/black theme and matches other red Nanoxia extensions.
What Will Not Work
- It does not provide PWM (4-pin) speed control — 4-pin PWM fans will run, but at full speed only.
- The motherboard cannot read the fan RPM, so fan-fail warnings in the BIOS will not work for these fans.
- It does not help if your power supply has no 4-pin Molex connector left (many modern PSUs have only one or two).
- It is not a SATA power adapter — it cannot be plugged into SATA power leads.
