Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a non-PoE model - powered AV endpoints need a PoE M4250 variant or a separate injector. The 10G SFP+ uplinks need transceivers or DAC cables (sold separately) and 2.5G copper needs Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. The dedicated AV web GUI runs on port 8080. Layer 3 covers static, RIP and PIM multicast routing (no OSPF). Cooling is selectable between fanless, quiet and cool modes.
