Nighthawk Mobile Hotspot Cradle — MD200
2 × GbEUSB-C PDCooling fanAntenna pass-through
The NETGEAR MD200 is the Nighthawk Mobile Hotspot Cradle. A compatible Nighthawk hotspot sits in it and connects through a USB-C dock connector, and the cradle adds two Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB-C Power Delivery passthrough and a cooling fan. That turns a portable 5G hotspot into a fixed desktop router for an office or home, with wired devices on the LAN ports and the fan keeping the hotspot cool during long sessions. There are two pass-through holes for external antenna cables and Power, LAN and WAN LEDs. It measures 107.5 × 112 × 80 mm and weighs 248 g.
Compatibility — check before buying:
For NETGEAR Nighthawk hotspots. The product page lists the M6, M6 Pro, M7 and M7 Pro with the latest firmware installed; the datasheet also names the M3 and M7 Ultra. Update the hotspot firmware before use. NETGEAR does not list a power adapter in the box — power comes through the USB-C PD passthrough from a charger you supply. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.
