Pattex Power mounting adhesive (PXP25, Montagekleber Power) is a white, water-based construction adhesive in a 250 g squeeze tube that bonds skirting boards, panels, mouldings, door frames and cable ducts to walls without drilling, for DIY users, maintenance staff and office fit-outs.
According to Henkel it grabs immediately with up to 150 kg/m², can be repositioned for 5–15 minutes and reaches final strength after 12–24 hours. It fills gaps of up to 10 mm, dries white and can be painted over.
Before you order: At least one of the two surfaces must be absorbent (wood, plaster, concrete, gypsum board). It does not bond PE, PP, PTFE, acrylic glass, natural stone such as marble, or mirrors.

What It Means in Practice
- Fix skirting boards, PVC or laminate panels, ceiling rosettes or cable ducts without screws.
- Apply between +10 and +40 °C; once cured the bond withstands −20 to +70 °C.
- Support heavy items for 48 hours or more while the adhesive cures.
- Paint over the joint once dry for an invisible finish.
What Will Not Work
- It will not bond two non-absorbent surfaces (e.g. metal to glass or tile to tile).
- It is not suitable for permanent water exposure, outdoor areas exposed to weather, or moisture-sensitive substrates.
- Not for PE, PP, PTFE, acrylic glass, marble/travertine or mirrors.
- Polystyrene and PU foam boards only indoors.
