The Planet GSD-1002M is a fully managed 8-port Gigabit desktop switch with two 100/1000X SFP fibre slots, giving small offices, branches and network edges enterprise-grade control without a rack. It delivers 20 Gbps non-blocking switching with L2/L4 management, IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack, 802.1Q VLANs and QoS, all from a silent fanless metal chassis. Sold under part number GSD-1002M, it can run from the included 12V DC adapter or be powered over Ethernet itself. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Important: the GSD-1002M does not supply PoE to connected devices — it cannot power cameras or access points. Port 8 is a PoE PD input, meaning the switch itself can be powered by an upstream IEEE 802.3af/at source (48–56V DC), or you use the included 12V DC adapter. The two SFP slots require separate 100Base-FX or 1000Base-X transceivers.
