The PLANET ISW-500T provides five auto-negotiating 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports in a compact industrial metal enclosure. Unmanaged plug-and-play operation suits control equipment and other Fast Ethernet devices without a configuration interface. DIN-rail or wall mounting, dual power inputs and a -40 to 75°C operating range support suitable protected industrial installations.
Best For: Control cabinets and industrial equipment that need straightforward five-port Fast Ethernet connectivity.
Before you order: Each network port is limited to 100 Mbps and does not provide PoE. Supply separate suitable industrial power at 12–48 V DC or supported 24 V AC, following the manual. Redundant input terminals do not mean two included supplies or a built-in UPS. IP30 does not protect against water.

- ISW-500T switch and documentation access sheet.
- DIN-rail bracket and wall-mount hardware with screws, plus five RJ45 dust caps as listed in the current manual.
- External industrial power supply and Ethernet cables selected separately.
- The dual-power diagram is illustrative. Both external supplies, camera and PC are separately supplied; Ethernet links do not provide PoE.
What It Means in Practice
- Connect up to five compatible 10/100BASE-TX devices using suitable twisted-pair cabling.
- Use auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X for ordinary endpoint and upstream network connections.
- Arrange appropriate external power, grounding and optional redundant sources before energising the switch.
- Install on DIN rail or a suitable wall plate inside a protected cabinet with suitable clearance.
What Will Not Work
- No Gigabit or multi-gigabit port speed.
- No PoE output for cameras, phones or access points.
- No SFP uplinks, managed VLAN configuration or routing function is established.
- The IP30 enclosure must not be exposed directly to rain or washdown.
