The PLANET IVC-234GPT is an industrial VDSL2 Ethernet extender with four Gigabit PoE+ ports. It carries network data over an existing telephone pair (RJ11) or a coaxial cable (BNC) and delivers PoE+ to cameras or access points at the far end. It supports VDSL2 profiles 17a, 30a and 35b with G.vectoring and G.INP, reaching up to 200/200 Mbps symmetric or 300/100 Mbps asymmetric, and up to 1.4 km. Each port provides 30.8 W, with a 120 W total budget when fed with 54 V DC. The IP30 aluminium housing works from −40 to 75 °C and mounts on a DIN rail or wall. In practice it reuses old copper or coax to bring PoE cameras online.
Compatibility — check before buying:
It works in pairs. You need a second unit at the other end, one set to CO and the other to CPE with the DIP switch. No power supply is included: it needs 12–54 V DC, and the full 120 W PoE budget is only available at 54 V; lower input voltages give less PoE power. Speeds fall with distance and cable quality.
