PNY Attaché 4 32 GB — USB 2.0, Capless, Key Loop Included
32 GBUSB 2.0, Type-ASliding collar, caplessKey loop included
The PNY Attaché 4 is a 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drive in a black plastic body with a sliding collar and no cap, and a key loop is included in the pack. It is one of the plainest drives PNY makes — something to carry documents on and not worry about.
Compatibility — check before buying:
???? This is the USB 2.0 Attaché 4, not the Attaché 4 3.1 — and the part numbers differ by four characters.
FD32GATT4-EF, this drive, is USB 2.0. FD32GATT431KK-EF is the USB 3.1 version, published at 80 MB/s read and 20 MB/s write. They look identical in a listing: same name, same black plastic, same sliding collar. The performance gap is not subtle — PNY publishes no read speed at all for the USB 2.0 line and only a footnote giving a 3 MB/s write baseline. If you have seen this drive advertised at 30 MB/s, that figure is not PNY’s; it does not appear on any PNY document and we will not repeat it. This is also a USB Type-A drive with no USB-C connector and no adapter in the pack. Two more honest gaps: PNY publishes no dimensions and no weight for the Attaché 4, and no operating-system version list. And note the warranty: PNY’s EMEA page says two years for flash drives while this product page still prints one year, so we show both.Best For
✓ Documents, spreadsheets and presentations you load once and read from
✓ Older machines and equipment that predate USB 3
✓ Buying several at once where price matters more than transfer time
✓ Machines and laptops with USB-A ports
✓ Handing files to someone who will keep the drive
✓ Carrying on keys — the key loop is supplied
Key Features
Key loop included
PNY supplies a key loop in the pack rather than moulding a bare hole and leaving you to find a ring. On a cheap drive that is a small but real courtesy.
Sliding collar, capless
The collar slides to expose the connector and protects it when the drive is not in use. Nothing detaches, nothing to lose.
USB 2.0 — works in anything
A USB 2.0 device plugs into every machine ever built with a USB port, including older equipment that can be fussy about USB 3 devices. Genuinely useful in some settings; a limitation in most.
Wide temperature range
Rated 0 to 60 °C in operation and -25 to 85 °C in storage, broader than many consumer drives publish.

Singular Expert Insight
The Attaché 4 in its USB 2.0 form is about as plain as a branded flash drive gets, and the honest reading of PNY’s own documentation is unflattering: no published read speed, a 3 MB/s write baseline, no dimensions, no weight. What you are buying is a recognisable badge, a capless body with a supplied key loop, and a low price. That is a reasonable purchase for documents handed round an office. It is the wrong purchase if you will be waiting on it, and the alternative is sitting right beside it under the same name — the Attaché 4 3.1, four characters apart in the part number, at 80 MB/s read and 20 MB/s write. Both, and better-documented rivals, are in our USB flash drives range. For large working files, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a cheap 32 GB USB-A stick with no cap to lose and a key loop in the box, for files you load once and read from.
Skip it if
You care how long a transfer takes — the Attaché 4 3.1 is the same drive on USB 3.1. Or you want published dimensions and speeds.
Also consider
PNY Attaché 4 3.1 (FD32GATT431KK-EF) for 80 / 20 MB/s in the same body. PNY Elite Steel 3.1 for the same speeds in metal. Any USB-C drive if a phone is involved.
