Poly Studio G62 — 4K Room System that Turns Poly Cameras and Mics into a Teams or Zoom Room
4K · dual displayPoE+ poweredDirectorAIBlack
The Poly Studio G62 is a 4K video conferencing room system — the compute unit that runs Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms or Poly Video and drives up to two 4K displays, powered by a single PoE+ cable. It is built for medium and large rooms designed around Poly cameras such as the Studio E60 or E70 and Poly IP microphones.
The G62 has no camera, microphones or speakers of its own: it is the brain of a modular room, which is exactly why it suits rooms where a single video bar cannot cover the space.
Before you order: The Studio G62 contains no camera, microphones or speakers. Plan a Poly camera (Studio E60, E70 or similar), Poly IP table or ceiling microphones and speakers, plus a PoE+ (802.3at/bt) switch or injector — no power supply is included.
What's in the Box
- Poly Studio G62 room system
- Ethernet cable
- HDMI cable
- Warranty card
What It Means in Practice
- One PoE+ cable powers the unit and connects it to the network — no power brick behind the screen.
- Two 4K HDMI outputs drive a people screen and a content screen.
- Poly DirectorAI and NoiseBlockAI work across the connected Poly cameras and microphones.
- Laptops share content over HDMI in or USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode.
What Will Not Work
- It will not run a meeting on its own — a camera, microphones and speakers must be added.
- It does not power up from a normal non-PoE port; there is no power button or supply.
- HDMI cameras can be used but without Poly framing features.
- A room licence for Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms is not included.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The G62 is the right base for rooms bigger than a video bar can handle: you pick the camera and microphones for the space and the G62 ties them into one Teams or Zoom room. Plan the PoE+ port — see our PoE switches.
✓ Buy it if you are designing a medium or large Poly room with separate camera and microphones.
✕ Skip it if you want an all-in-one device — a video bar such as Poly Studio X-series or V12 is simpler.
→ Also consider Poly Studio E60 camera and Poly TC10 touch controller.
