The HP Poly Studio X32 (A3SV5AA#ABB) is a compact all-in-one video bar for huddle and small meeting rooms with a 20 MP 4K camera, a 120° horizontal field of view, four microphones and stereo speakers, powered by a single PoE++ network cable and running Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms or Google Meet without a room PC.
One cable carries both power and network, which keeps the installation under the screen clean. The wide 120° view suits rooms where people sit close to the display, and DirectorAI keeps the framing on whoever is speaking. It drives two displays and takes a wired HDMI input for content.
Before you order: No power supply is included. The bar must be powered from an IEEE 802.3bt Class 6 (PoE++) switch port or injector — an ordinary PoE or PoE+ switch will not power it. A display and a meeting platform licence are also needed; a Poly TC8/TC10 touch controller is optional and sold separately.

What It Means in Practice
- Fits rooms of about 4.6 × 3 m: the microphones pick up voices up to 4.5 m.
- With a PoE++ switch in the comms room, the only cables at the screen are one network cable and the HDMI to the display.
- DirectorAI speaker, people and group framing keeps the picture tight on the people in the room.
- Two HDMI outputs allow people and content on separate screens.
What Will Not Work
- It will not power on from a standard PoE (802.3af) or PoE+ (802.3at) port — check your switch supports 802.3bt Class 6 or add a PoE++ injector.
- It is not a Windows PC; Teams Rooms on Windows and Windows apps do not run on it.
- No touch controller or platform licence is included.
- Not intended for large rooms — microphone reach is about 4.5 m.

The X32 is ideal where a clean single-cable install matters, as long as the network side is ready: check for an 802.3bt Class 6 port before ordering. If you need one, we carry PoE++ switches and can match an injector to your existing switch.
