The Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC (8G7U0AA) is a black over-ear stereo Bluetooth headset, certified for Microsoft Teams, with hybrid adaptive ANC, a boomless microphone array and a BT700 USB-C adapter, built for hybrid workers who move between open office, home and travel.
There is no boom arm: six call microphones in the ear cups pick up your voice while four more drive the active noise cancellation, so you can look professional on video and still be heard clearly in noisy spaces. Transparency mode lets you hear colleagues without taking the headset off. The BT700 adapter gives a stable, certified connection to your PC or Mac, and Bluetooth 5.3 pairs your phone at the same time. A dedicated Teams button opens Teams and joins meetings, and the busy light tells colleagues you are on a call.
Before you order: This is the Microsoft Teams version. The Teams button works with the Teams desktop app; with other softphones it acts as a standard call button. The Voyager Surround 80 has no charging stand — that is the Surround 85.

What It Means in Practice
- Hybrid adaptive ANC adapts to the noise around you — open-plan office, café or plane.
- Talk up to 21 hours or listen up to 24 hours; a full charge over USB-C takes about one hour.
- Connect two devices at once, for example the laptop via BT700 and your mobile via Bluetooth.
- Use the USB-C cable or the USB-C to 3.5 mm cable for wired listening on a flight entertainment system or older device.
- Manage settings, firmware and the BT700 pairing with Poly Lens.
What Will Not Work
- The Teams button does not work with the Teams mobile app — only the desktop client.
- The 3.5 mm cable does not charge the headset.
- The BT700 adapter pairs with one headset at a time; re-pairing requires Poly Lens Desktop.
- No DECT base or desk-phone connection.
- Playback controls may not work in some web apps.
