PORT Designs Eco Belize Ergoview 15.6/16"
15.6"–16"ToploadingIntegrated standFully paddedGrey
The Belize Ergoview is a slim toploading case with an unusual trick: its outer panel folds out and props the laptop up at a working angle. PORT calls this Ergoview — an elevated ergonomic support built into the bag itself rather than a separate stand you have to carry.
Compatibility — check before buying:
PORT rates the case for 15.6" and 16" laptops, ultrabooks and hybrids. PORT publishes no dimensions and no weight for this reference, so if your machine is unusually large or thick there is no manufacturer figure to check against.
Best For
✓ Anyone who works away from a desk and wants the screen raised
✓ 15.6" or 16" laptops, ultrabooks and hybrids
✓ Users who prefer a slim toploader to a backpack
✓ Hot-desking and travel
Key Features
Ergoview foldable stand panel
PORT’s own description: the outer panel folds out to give an elevated ergonomic support for the laptop, so you keep a better posture without carrying a separate stand.
Toploading opening
The laptop lifts straight out of the top rather than requiring the case to be unzipped around three sides.
Fully padded structure
PORT specifies padding throughout the body of the case, not just around the laptop.
Large zipped front pocket
A front pocket with an organiser for a charger, a smartphone and accessories.
Slim design
Cut for laptops, ultrabooks and hybrid machines rather than a bulky business briefcase.
r-PET materials, per PORT’s bullets
PORT’s feature bullets state the case is made from recycled and recyclable r-PET materials. Note the contradiction in PORT’s own data below.

Singular Expert Insight
The fold-out stand is the reason to buy this: raising a laptop screen makes a real difference over a long working day, and having the stand built into the bag removes the usual excuse for not using one. Everything else is standard toploader. Be aware that PORT’s own data for this reference contradicts itself on two counts — eco materials and warranty — and that it publishes no dimensions or weight at all.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Ergonomics,The fold-out panel is the differentiator. If you already carry a laptop stand, this replaces it.,What it does not have,No tablet compartment, no document compartment and no trolley strap, per PORT’s own spec table.,Recycled content,PORT states r-PET in its bullets but "Eco materials: No" in its spec table — do not rely on a recycled claim for this reference.
Skip it if
If you need a trolley strap, a tablet pocket or a document compartment, PORT lists none of them for this case.
