PORT Designs Torino II Backpack — 140424
15.6"–16"15 LTablet up to 11"Trolley strapRed
The PORT Designs Torino II is a compact 15 litre daily backpack from the French brand’s city range. PORT states it takes a laptop up to 15.6–16" including a 16" MacBook Pro, plus a dedicated tablet pocket up to 11", an inner organiser and a large zipped front pocket. Reference 140424 is the red version.
Compatibility — check before buying:
PORT specifies a padded compartment for laptops up to 15.6–16" and explicitly names the 16" MacBook Pro. The separate tablet pocket is rated up to 11". The colour references in this range are 140423 Bleu nuit, 140424 Red, 140425 Black and 140426 Gray — all otherwise identical.
Best For
✓ Daily commuting with a 15.6" or 16" laptop
✓ Travellers who need the bag to ride on a suitcase handle
✓ Anyone carrying a laptop and a tablet together
✓ Buyers who want a compact 15 L backpack in a colour other than black
Key Features
Padded 15.6–16" laptop compartment
A dedicated padded section rated by PORT for laptops up to 16", including the 16" MacBook Pro.
Dedicated tablet pocket up to 11"
A separate pocket keeps the tablet from rubbing against the laptop in transit.
Trolley strap
A pass-through strap positions the backpack on a suitcase handle, so it rides on the luggage rather than your shoulder.
Water-resistant base
PORT specifies a water-resistant base — the part of the bag that meets wet ground when you set it down.
Inner organiser and front zip pocket
An organiser panel inside plus a spacious zipped front pocket keep cables and documents separated.
Elastic strap keepers
Elastic loops store the unused length of the shoulder straps instead of leaving them dangling.

Singular Expert Insight
Torino II is a well-judged everyday backpack: 15 litres is the size most people actually need, and the trolley strap plus water-resistant base are the two features that stop a cheap bag from feeling cheap. PORT is thin on materials data — no fabric spec on the product page and two conflicting distributor figures — so if fabric weight matters to your buying decision, look at a brand that publishes it.
