How to choose the right accessory or spare part
- Use the part number. Spare parts are specific to the printer model and often to the resolution (203 or 300 dpi printheads and platens). Check the model plate on your printer and match it to the description.
- Wear parts. Platen rollers and printheads wear with use. Replacing them restores print quality; replace the platen when you replace the printhead.
- Cash drawers. Most drawers open through the receipt printer (RJ-11/12 kick port) and need the correct voltage, usually 24 V. Check the printer drawer port before ordering. Inserts are sized for euro notes and coins and must match the drawer model.
- Power. Many power supplies ship without a power cord. Cyprus uses UK three-pin sockets, so add a UK cord where needed.
- Mobile printers. Spare batteries, charging cradles and carry cases are made for each series; check the compatible printers.
