The Zebra P1004237 is the genuine 300 dpi replacement printhead for the Zebra 170Xi4 6-inch industrial label printer, also listed by Zebra for the ZE500-6 print engine in right-hand and left-hand versions. It is for production and logistics sites whose 300 dpi labels show white lines, faded areas or barcodes that no longer scan.
The printhead forms every dot on the label. Over time abrasive media, ribbon edges, dust and high darkness settings burn out heating elements, which shows as fine vertical voids. A new head restores sharp, even print across the full width, which matters most for small text and dense 2D barcodes at 300 dpi.
Before you order: This head is for 300 dpi 170Xi4 printers and ZE500-6 engines only. A 203 dpi 170Xi4 needs P1004236. The 110Xi4, 140Xi4 and 220Xi4 use different heads. The resolution is shown on the printer configuration label.

- It will not fix platen roller, sensor or ribbon drive faults.
