Kopp PROFIversal 691698K — 19" 1U UPS power strip with 8 red Schuko sockets and C14 input
8 x Schuko (red)IEC C14 input10 A fuseGrey RAL 7035
The Kopp PROFIversal 691698K is a 19-inch, 1U power strip with eight Schuko (CEE 7/3) sockets, made for use behind a UPS: it is fed through a 2 m cable with an IEC C14 plug and protected by an integrated 10 A fuse. The red sockets mark the outlets as UPS-backed, so nobody plugs a kettle or a heater into the protected circuit by mistake.
The housing is an aluminium profile in light grey (RAL 7035, the classic rack colour), the socket inserts are turned 45° for angled plugs, and metal mounting brackets are included. It is distributed by EFB-Elektronik.
Before you order: The input is an IEC C14 plug, so the strip connects to a C13 outlet on a UPS or PDU — not to a wall socket. Devices need Schuko CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 plugs; BS 1363 plugs do not fit. Total load is limited to 10 A.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Kopp PROFIversal 691698K 19" socket strip with fixed 2 m grey supply cable (IEC C14 plug)
- Metal 19" mounting brackets
- Screws and cage nuts not listed — use the ones supplied with your rack
What It Means in Practice
- Turns one C13 output of a UPS into eight Schuko sockets, so Schuko-plugged devices can run on UPS power without adapters.
- Red sockets make the UPS-backed circuit obvious to anyone working on the rack.
- 10 A in total is about 2300 W at 230 V and must also fit within the rating of the UPS outlet.
- No switch: the strip follows the UPS output.
What Will Not Work
- Plugging straight into a wall socket — the C14 input needs a C13 outlet on a UPS or PDU.
- BS 1363 (UK/Cyprus) plugs — use CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 cords.
- Loads above 10 A — the integrated fuse will blow.
- Surge protection or a switch — this strip has neither.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are the sockets red?
Red is the common marking for UPS-backed outlets, so non-critical appliances are not plugged into the protected circuit.
Can I use it without a UPS?
Only from a C13 outlet of a PDU. It cannot be plugged into a wall socket.
Which plugs fit?
Schuko CEE 7/4 and hybrid CEE 7/7. BS 1363 and French CEE 7/6 do not fit.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A neat way to give Schuko-plugged devices UPS power in a light-grey rack, with the red sockets keeping everyone honest about what goes on the protected circuit. Remember the 10 A ceiling. More rack power parts are in our
rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you run Schuko-plugged equipment from a UPS C13 outlet in a grey 19" rack.
✕ Skip it if you need more than 10 A, a wall-plug input or IEC outlets.
→ Also consider EFB EK631CC.1 (C14 input, 12 x IEC C13) or DIGITUS DN-95427 (C20 input, 16 A).
