The QNAP CAB-DAC15M-SFPP is a 1.5 m 10GbE SFP+ direct attach cable (DAC) with an SFP+ connector at each end. QNAP lists it as an optional accessory for its NAS systems and network cards with SFP+ ports, to connect them to a 10GbE SFP+ switch or directly to another SFP+ device.
A DAC replaces two optical transceivers plus a fibre patch cord for short runs inside a rack — fewer parts and nothing to clean.
Before you order: Both ends must be SFP+ (10GbE) ports. Some switches accept only their own vendor-coded DACs; if your switch is not QNAP, send us the model and we will check before you order.
