The EFB-Elektronik EK631DE.1 is a 19-inch, 1U rack power strip with nine Schuko (CEE 7/3) sockets in a black aluminium profile, without an on/off switch. It packs the maximum number of Schuko outlets into one rack unit for network and server equipment with German-type plugs.
The sockets are turned 45° so angled plugs and power adapters can sit side by side, they have increased touch protection, and power comes in through a 2 m cable with an angled CEE 7/7 earthing-contact plug.
Before you order: The sockets are German Schuko (CEE 7/3) and the plug is CEE 7/7. In Cyprus that means a Schuko outlet installed by an electrician or a UPS with Schuko outputs — it does not plug into a BS 1363 wall socket, and devices with BS 1363 plugs need CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 cords.

What It Means in Practice
- Nine outlets in 1U: you can power a whole small rack — switches, router, firewall, NAS and servers — from one strip.
- Without a switch nothing can be turned off by accident; the strip is live as long as its supply is.
- No surge protection: put it behind a UPS or choose the EK631DE.3 if the rack sits on a raw mains line.
- EFB does not publish a total load rating — keep the combined load within the 16 A of a standard Schuko circuit and ask us if in doubt.
What Will Not Work
- BS 1363 (UK/Cyprus) plugs — they do not fit Schuko sockets; use CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/7 cords.
- Plugging the strip into a Cyprus BS 1363 wall socket — the CEE 7/7 plug needs a Schuko outlet or a UPS with Schuko outputs.
- IEC C13/C19 server cords — there are no IEC outlets.
- Surge protection or an on/off switch — this model has neither.
