The Rackmount.IT RM-SR-T10I is a SORACK 19 inch mounting kit that puts a Sophos SD-RED 20 or SD-RED 60 remote Ethernet device into a standard rack, with six network ports brought out to shielded RJ-45 keystones on the front. It is meant for branch offices where the SD-RED sits in the same cabinet as the switch and patch panel.
The SD-RED is fixed with the supplied bolt on its side and up to two external power supplies are strapped into the tray with cable ties. The kit itself is 1.3U high; with the included Rackmount.IT front plate mounted below it, the assembly occupies 2U and closes the rack front cleanly.
Before you order: Designed for Sophos SD-RED 20 and SD-RED 60. The Wi-Fi versions physically fit, but Rackmount.IT notes the kit is not specifically designed for them (no antenna provision). This is the shielded T10I version — the RM-SR-T10 is the same kit with unshielded cabling.

What It Means in Practice
- The SD-RED becomes a normal 2U rack device, patched from the front like the switch next to it.
- Shielded cables and couplers keep the shielding path intact where STP cabling is used.
- Device LEDs and front USB stay visible and reachable through the faceplate.
- Power bricks are secured instead of hanging loose at the back of the cabinet.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit Sophos XGS/XG desktop firewalls or other RED models — those need different SORACK kits.
- Wi-Fi SD-RED models have no antenna pass-through in this kit.
- It does not supply power or cooling; follow Sophos ventilation guidance.
- The Sophos appliance is not included.
