The Rackmount.IT FortiRack RM-FR-T22 is a 2U, 19-inch rack mount kit that holds two Fortinet FortiGate 80F-PoE, 80F-DSL or FortiWiFi 80F-series appliances side by side, built for IT teams who want desktop firewalls to sit properly in a rack instead of on a shelf.

Each appliance slides into its own bay and is fixed with two bolts. The network connections are brought to the front panel through keystones, and the external power supplies are strapped to extension plates inside the kit, so the rack front stays tidy and the adapters are not left hanging loose behind the unit.

• Two branch firewalls, or a firewall plus a spare, occupy 2U of rack space with one clean front panel.
• Front keystones mean patching is done from the front of the rack, which helps in shallow wall cabinets where the rear is hard to reach.
• The appliance power bricks are secured on the plates, so they do not stress the DC plugs or block airflow.
• Installation takes a few minutes per appliance: slide in, fix with two bolts, connect the internal patch leads.

• It will not fit the standard FortiGate 80F, 81F or 80F-BYPASS (non-PoE) — order RM-FR-T15 for those.
• It is not a shelf for other brands of firewall or router; the bays are cut for the 80F-PoE/DSL/FortiWiFi chassis.
• It does not include a power supply or PDU — each appliance keeps its own Fortinet adapter.
• It does not add cooling fans; ventilation relies on the appliances themselves and the rack airflow.
