ICY BOX IB-DK2251AC USB 3.0 Dual-Display Docking Station, 2x HDMI, 6x USB, Gigabit LAN, Audio, for USB-A and USB-C
ICY BOX IB-DK2251AC — dual-HDMI docking station for both USB-A and USB-C laptops
The ICY BOX IB-DK2251AC is an 11-in-1 USB 3.0 docking station with two HDMI outputs, six USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and audio jacks, connected to the laptop through one cable that ends in both USB-A and USB-C. It suits mixed office fleets where older USB-A notebooks and newer USB-C models need the same desk setup.
Video is generated by DisplayLink over USB, so the laptop does not need a video-capable USB-C port — but it does need the DisplayLink driver. The dock has its own 20W power supply and can stand upright on its metal stand or lie flat.

What It Means in Practice
- One cable connects two monitors, keyboard, mouse, network and headset; unplug it to leave the desk.
- Works with USB-A and USB-C laptops thanks to the combined cable — useful during a fleet transition.
- The 5V USB 3.0 charge port can top up a phone or tablet at up to 2.1A.
- Stand it vertically with the metal stand or lay it flat to fit the desk.
What Will Not Work
- Video without the DisplayLink driver (for example on locked-down PCs that block driver installs).
- Laptop charging — there is no Power Delivery.
- 4K monitors — the HDMI outputs are not 4K.
- macOS 10.13.4 (not supported by DisplayLink).
