The ICY BOX IB-HUB1430-CR is a hub that lives inside the desk: it drops into a standard 80 mm cable-grommet hole (table tops up to 45 mm thick) and puts two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB-C port, an SD and a microSD slot, headphone and microphone jacks and a 230 V EU mains socket flush with the surface. A 1.4 m integrated USB-A cable, the audio leads and a Schuko plug run underneath to the PC and the wall. Part number IB-HUB1430-CR is bus-powered, with an optional 5 V / 4 A DC input for heavy loads; the adapter is not included.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Needs an 80 mm round hole in the desk (the standard grommet size) and a table thickness of up to 45 mm. The host cable is USB-A — USB-C-only laptops need an adapter (not included). The power socket is a plain mains pass-through: it does not power the USB ports and the hub does not charge a laptop. The USB-C port is data only, no video. Three USB ports in total, not four.
