RealPower 404306 USB-C to USB-C Cable — 480 Mbit/s, 1 m
USB 2.0 Hi-Speed480 Mbit/s3 A1 m
The RealPower 404306 is a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable with up to 480 Mbit/s (USB 2.0 Hi-Speed) data transfer and charging current up to 3 A, made for connecting USB-C phones, tablets and accessories directly to each other or to a USB-C charger.
At 480 Mbit/s this is a charge-and-sync cable: right for phones, tablets, game controllers, keyboards, mice, headsets, e-readers and small USB-C gadgets. Copying a few photos or a document is fine; moving hundreds of gigabytes is not what it is for.
USB-C cables look alike but differ in three ways: data speed (from 480 Mbit/s up to 40 Gbit/s), power (60 W, 100 W or 240 W) and video support. This one is 480 Mbit/s with charging current up to 3 A — check those two numbers against what your device needs.
What's in the Box
- 1 × RealPower USB-C to USB-C sync and charging cable, 1 m, white (polybag)
What It Means in Practice
- Length 1 m: the everyday desk length — reaches from a computer or charger to a device on the same desk or bedside table.
- Power: charging current up to 3 A. The charger and the device negotiate the actual wattage; the cable only sets the upper limit.
- Symmetrical: either end can go into the charger or the device.
- Plug-and-play: no driver needed on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android or iPadOS.
What Will Not Work
- No wattage or Power Delivery level is published beyond 3 A — do not rely on it for laptops that need more than basic USB-C charging.
- Not a Thunderbolt 4/5 or USB4 cable — docks and eGPU enclosures that require Thunderbolt/USB4 will not work at full function.
- Do not order it by mistake instead of 404307 (2 m).

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I charge a laptop with it?
Only for basic charging. RealPower states 3 A but no wattage or Power Delivery level, so for a laptop choose a USB-C cable with a stated 60 W or 100 W rating.
Does the cable carry video?
No video support is published for this cable, so do not plan on using it for a monitor; use a cable rated for DisplayPort Alt Mode or 4K video instead.
Does it matter which end goes where?
No. Both ends are identical USB-C plugs, and USB-C itself decides which side is the power source.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
RealPower keeps this one simple: a white USB-C to USB-C cable for syncing at 480 Mbit/s and charging at up to 3 A — the everyday cable for USB-C phones, tablets, earbuds and accessories with a USB-C charger. If you need a charger to go with it, see our
laptop power supplies.
✓ Buy it if you need a plain white USB-C cable to charge and sync phones, tablets or accessories from a USB-C charger.
✕ Skip it if you need a stated 60–100 W rating for a laptop, video or SSD speed.
→ Also consider If the device needs more than this cable carries, step up to a 100 W or 240 W e-marked USB-C cable; for monitors, a cable rated for 4K video.
