The REINER SCT timeCard accessbox (article 2716050-002) is a door control unit for the timeCard access control system. It adds a door where no time recording is needed, at lower cost than a full terminal, and can be installed out of sight — for example above a suspended ceiling. It switches the electric door opener through two potential-free changeover relays, reads a door contact, and connects one external timeCard RFID reader at the door. It talks to the timeCard server over the LAN with end-to-end encryption and has two RJ45 ports, one with PoE, acting as a small network hub. It is powered by PoE, 12–24 V DC or 5.3 V DC, draws at most 5 W, and is rated IP66.

Compatibility — check before buying:
It is one part of a timeCard system. REINER SCT requires the timeCard time recording server installation v4.3.1 or newer with the access control software module. The RFID reader is not included — each door needs one external timeCard RFID reader, such as the V3 reader 2716050-103 — and neither is the door opener.
