The Ricoh IC 41 Ink Collector Unit (405783) is the genuine ink collector unit that collects the excess ink left over during printing, rated by Ricoh at up to 27,000 pages, for offices running Ricoh SG 3100 and SG 7100 series GelJet printers.

This is a waste ink collector, not a toner part: the GelJet print heads purge a small amount of gel ink during cleaning and start-up, and the IC 41 absorbs it. When it is full the printer stops and asks for a new unit.
