The Rittal 2092200 is a pack of 50 M6 captive nuts without contact for fastening 482.6 mm (19") equipment and blanking plates to 19" mounting angles and profile rails, for sheet thicknesses from 0.8 to 2.5 mm. Rittal lists it as an EL series accessory ("EL 2092.200") for rack-mounted electronic equipment in cabinets and racks.
The "without contact" design does not create an electrical contact between the installed equipment and the 19" section — the choice when you do not want the fastening point to bond the device to the frame.
Before you order: Rittal makes these nuts in several versions that look almost identical: M5 or M6 thread, with or without contact. This is M6 without contact. For M6 with contact order Rittal 2094200; for M5 with contact order 2094500. Check the thread of your screws and whether you need contact before ordering.

- Use them wherever a 19" device, shelf or blanking plate is fastened to square-hole mounting angles with M6 screws.
- The 0.8–2.5 mm clamping range covers the typical sheet thickness of 19" mounting angles and profile rails.
- Fifty pieces are enough for around a dozen 1U devices at four fixing points each, or for re-equipping a small cabinet.
- Without contact: the nut does not bond the device to the 19" section.
What Will Not Work
- Screws are not included — you need matching M6 screws.
- M5 screws will not fit these M6 nuts.
- They are not for round or threaded-hole rails: they clip into square holes of mounting angles.
- Rittal does not publish the square-hole size or material finish for this pack — if your rails are non-standard, ask us before ordering.
