The Rittal DK 7979.534 PDU metered plus is a vertical 0U power distribution unit for VX IT and TS IT racks, with 24 Schuko (CEE 7/3) sockets fed from a three-phase 400 V / 32 A supply through a CEE 32 A five-pin plug on a 3 m cable. It distributes up to 22 kW: eight sockets per phase, four per fuse, protected by six hydraulic-magnetic 16 A circuit breakers.
Every output slot is metered — voltage, current, frequency, active and apparent power, energy, power factor and phase angle — with ±1% energy accuracy to EN 62053-21. Readings appear on a backlit 128 × 128 TFT colour display and over two redundant Gigabit Ethernet ports, with HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Modbus/TCP and OPC-UA support.
Before you order: this PDU needs a three-phase 400 V CEE 32 A supply — not a Schuko or single-phase socket. It meters but does not switch outlets: for remote per-outlet switching, a managed PDU such as the Rittal DK 7979.440 is the right choice.
