The Rittal DK 5302.027 is a potential equalisation kit for Rittal VX IT network and server racks, with a central earthing point on a 0.3 m lead and seven 4 mm² earth straps that bond the doors and optional side panels to the rack frame. It creates the rack bonding point for functional earthing to EN 50310, so every panel and installed component sits at the same potential.

Bonding the removable parts of a rack matters because hinges and painted surfaces do not provide a reliable electrical connection. The kit gives a tidy, standardised way to connect them and to link the whole rack to the building's earthing network.
