Rittal DK 7856.100 — PSM Plus socket module with 4 Schuko sockets for the Rittal PSM busbar
4 x Schuko CEE 7/3PSM Plus module110–230 V · 16 ASnap-in, tool-free
The Rittal DK 7856.100 is a PSM Plus socket module with four Schuko (type F, CEE 7/3) sockets, rated 110–230 V AC / 16 A, that snaps onto a Rittal PSM busbar inside a server or network rack. It is a modular building block: you add as many modules as you need along the busbar, without tools and even while the system is running.
The module is 250 mm long, made of anodised aluminium with black PA6 GF30 socket inserts, and connects to the busbar through a WAGO WINSTA MIDI connector. This version is non-switchable and has no overcurrent protection.
Before you order: This module does nothing on its own: it has no cable and no plug. It needs a Rittal PSM busbar (for example DK 7856.008, sold separately) already installed and fed in the rack. If you need a module with its own thermal overcurrent protection, choose the DK 7856.090 instead.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Rittal DK 7856.100 PSM Plus socket module (4 x Schuko)
- No busbar, cable or plug included
What It Means in Practice
- Add outlets exactly where equipment sits along the vertical busbar, instead of running long cords to a fixed strip.
- Modules can be inserted or removed while the busbar is live, so you can expand a running rack without shutting it down.
- The busbar can be fed from one or two supplies (depending on the busbar model) — modules choose which feed they draw from by their orientation.
- No fuse in this module: protection comes from the busbar feed.
What Will Not Work
- Use without a Rittal PSM busbar — there is no cable or plug.
- Non-Rittal racks or PDUs without the PSM rail system.
- BS 1363 (UK/Cyprus) plugs — the sockets are Schuko.
- Per-module overload protection — choose the DK 7856.090 for a thermal fuse.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
PSM is Rittal's modular answer to fixed PDUs: one busbar, then add socket modules where you need them. This module only makes sense if you already have or are buying the PSM busbar. For a standalone strip, see our
rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you run a Rittal PSM busbar and need four more Schuko outlets.
✕ Skip it if you have no PSM busbar, or you want per-module overload protection.
→ Also consider Rittal DK 7856.090 (same module with 16 A thermal fuse).
