The MUF-256DA/APC is Samsung’s Type-C™ USB Flash Drive at 256 GB in blue. Samsung rates it at 400 MB/s sequential read and 110 MB/s write at this capacity, over a single USB Type-C connector on USB 3.2 Gen 1. This is the USB-C drive in Samsung’s range — a single Type-C connector, with no USB-A end. Samsung’s official name for it is simply the “Type-C USB Flash Drive”: there is no BAR, FIT or Plus in it, whatever a retailer listing may call it. It measures 33.7 × 15.9 × 6.4 mm and weighs about 3.4 g.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two things about the published figures. First, the 110 MB/s write appears only in Samsung’s datasheet — its regional product pages quote read speed alone. We publish it and tell you where it comes from. Second, watch the temperature numbers: Samsung’s product pages show −25 to 85 °C, but that is the temperature-proof durability claim, not an operating range. The datasheet gives the actual operating range as 0 to 60 °C. Listings that print −25 to 85 as the operating spec have confused the two.

This one commits entirely to USB-C, which is right if your laptop and phone are both modern and wrong the moment you need to put files on a TV, a car stereo or an older office PC. There is no adapter in the box and Samsung does not publish box contents at all, so assume you get the drive and nothing else. One small practical note: Samsung’s own page and datasheet disagree on the drive’s thickness — 6.4 mm versus 8.2 mm. If it has to fit a recessed port, allow for the larger figure.
