SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive 128 GB — USB-C at one end, USB-A at the other
USB Type-C + USB Type-A128 GBUp to 150 MB/s readUSB 3.1 Gen 1
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive is a 128 GB flash drive with a USB Type-C connector at one end and a full-size USB-A at the other, part number SDDDC2-128G-G46. Plug the USB-C end into an Android phone or tablet to free up space or grab a video, then plug the USB-A end into a computer to copy it across — no cable and no cloud account in between. SanDisk rates this capacity at up to 150 MB/s read. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the USB-C model, not micro-USB. SanDisk sells a near-identically named micro-USB drive under the code SDDD3, which fits no current phone — check the code if you are comparing listings. This drive needs a phone or tablet with a USB-C port and OTG support, which covers essentially every recent Android device, and iPhone 15 or later. It will not work with a Lightning iPhone (iPhone 14 and earlier). On a computer, either end will do.
Best For
✓ Freeing up space on an Android phone without a cloud subscription
✓ Moving photo and video libraries off a phone onto a laptop
✓ Sharing files between a USB-C phone and an older USB-A computer
✓ Carrying films or a music library to play straight off the phone
✓ A backup of phone photos that lives in a drawer, not on a server
✓ Anyone with both a USB-C laptop and an older USB-A desktop
Key Features
Two connectors, one drive
USB Type-C on one end, full-size USB-A on the other. It plugs directly into a modern phone and directly into any computer, so nothing has to be emailed or uploaded to get between them.
Up to 150 MB/s read
SanDisk publishes 150 MB/s for this capacity, the same figure it gives from 32 GB up to 256 GB — so a bigger Dual Drive is a roomier one, not a faster one. It publishes no write speed at all, so we do not quote one. If speed is your priority, the Dual Drive Go and Dual Drive Luxe reach up to 400 MB/s.
Retractable, nothing to lose
The body slides to cover whichever plug is not in use. No cap to lose and no exposed contacts in a pocket.
128 GB of phone offload
Enough for roughly 30,000 to 40,000 phone photos, or around four hours of 4K video — our own estimate, since the real figure depends on your phone and its settings.

Singular Expert Insight
This is the original and cheapest of SanDisk’s USB-C sticks, and its job is straightforward: get photos and video off a phone without a cable or a cloud account. At 128 GB it gives you plenty of room, but it does not get any quicker for the extra capacity — 150 MB/s is the figure across the whole range. If you move a lot of 4K video, the Dual Drive Go and Dual Drive Luxe in our USB flash drives range read at up to 400 MB/s at this same size, which is a real difference every time you empty a phone. Buy this one when the point is capacity and price rather than speed. If what you need is more storage inside the phone, a card from our SD cards range may suit better, provided your phone still has a slot.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want plenty of room to move files between a USB-C Android phone and a computer without cables or cloud storage, and price matters more than transfer speed.
Skip it if
You have a Lightning iPhone, you move large amounts of 4K video and want it done quickly, or you only ever plug drives into a computer.
Also consider
SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 128GB for up to 400 MB/s at the same capacity, or the Dual Drive Luxe for that speed in an all-metal body.
