SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I 2TB — 250 MB/s Read, 150 MB/s Write, V30
2TB capacity250 MB/s read150 MB/s writeU3 and V30 rated
The SanDisk Extreme PRO SD UHS-I is a full-size 2TB SDXC card rated U3 and V30, published at up to 250 MB/s read and up to 150 MB/s write for this capacity. Part number SDSDXXD-2T00-GN4IN is the 2TB model — the top of the line and the largest full-size SD card SanDisk makes. It is a UHS-I card, which is what the overwhelming majority of cameras actually use, and at this capacity it removes card changes from a shoot entirely.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two things worth checking before you order, and one that surprises people. First, 2TB SDXC support is a firmware question. Many cameras — including plenty made in the last few years — declare a maximum supported capacity below 2TB, and most bodies made before roughly 2020 do. The card fits and is simply refused or fails to format. Check the manual for the maximum capacity, or send us the body model and we will look it up. Second, this is UHS-I: in a UHS-II camera it works but gains nothing beyond UHS-I rates, and if your camera asks for V60 or V90 for its best recording modes, this V30 card will not satisfy them. Third, the surprise: the 2TB writes at 150 MB/s while the 256GB, 512GB and 1TB models in the current line write at 170. Buying the biggest card does not buy the fastest write. Tell us the camera and the recording mode and we will confirm what it needs.
Best For
✓ 4K video in UHS-I cameras
✓ Mirrorless and DSLR bodies with a single SD slot
✓ A whole trip, wedding or event on one card
✓ Photographers who shoot RAW plus JPEG
✓ Drones and gimbal cameras that take full-size SD
✓ Replacing a bag of smaller cards with one
Key Features
250 MB/s read and 150 MB/s write at 2TB
Both directions published, and both are this capacity’s own figures rather than a family headline. Write speed decides how quickly a burst clears the camera buffer; read speed decides how long the offload takes at the end of the day.
U3 and V30 — the marks a camera checks
V30 guarantees a sustained 30 MB/s minimum during recording, which is the requirement almost every 4K mode in a consumer or enthusiast camera looks for. Cameras check the class mark before allowing their higher-quality modes, not the peak speed printed on the label.
2TB — the largest full-size SD card SanDisk makes
A terabyte removes card-swapping; two removes thinking about it. It also concentrates a whole shoot in one place, which is worth weighing for paid work — many professionals still prefer two smaller cards for that reason.
Two years of RescuePRO Deluxe
SanDisk includes RescuePRO Deluxe recovery software free for two full years with this line — a stated duration, and genuinely useful the day a card is formatted by accident.

Singular Expert Insight
For most photographers a UHS-I card like this is the correct purchase rather than a compromise: the overwhelming majority of cameras are UHS-I, and in a UHS-I body a UHS-II card delivers nothing extra for a much higher price. The number that decides a card is the write speed, because that is what clears a RAW burst, and the mark that decides it is V30, because that is what a camera checks before allowing its better video modes. Two capacity-specific facts are worth carrying away from this page: the 2TB writes at 150 MB/s where its smaller siblings in the same generation write at 170, and the same SDSDXXD code at 512GB or 1TB is an older 200 / 140 card — so a speed claim copied from one capacity to another in this line will be wrong. And budget for the reader: a 250 MB/s card behind an old USB 2.0 reader offloads at a fraction of its speed, and a modern one from our card reader range costs very little next to a 2TB card.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You shoot 4K or RAW in a UHS-I camera confirmed to accept 2TB, and you want a card that lasts a whole trip. 250 read, 150 write, V30 guaranteed, two years of recovery software and a lifetime term.
Skip it if
Your camera caps below 2TB — many do. Skip it too if your body is UHS-II and asks for V60 or V90, or if you would rather not put an entire paid shoot on one card.
Also consider
The 1TB card in this line if write speed matters more than capacity — it is quicker at 170 MB/s. A UHS-II V60 or V90 card if your camera asks for one. A modern card reader, since an old one will bottleneck the offload.
