SanDisk Extreme PRO 32 GB SDHC — 90 MB/s write, V30

90 MB/s writeV30 and U332 GB SDHC2-year RescuePRO Deluxe

The SanDisk Extreme PRO is a 32 GB full-size SDHC UHS-I card for photographers, part number SDSDXXO-032G-GN4IN. Its 90 MB/s published write speed is the fastest of any card on this page, which is what clears a camera buffer after a burst of RAW frames and keeps 4K recording going. Reads come off at up to 100 MB/s, and SanDisk includes a two-year RescuePRO Deluxe recovery offer. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a full-size SD card — it will not fit a phone or an action camera that takes microSD. At 32 GB it is SDHC, the most widely supported size, so it works in older bodies that reject 64 GB cards. It is V30 and U3; it is not V60 or V90, so a camera demanding those needs a UHS-II card. Both speeds sit inside the standard UHS-I limit, so an ordinary reader gets full performance and a proprietary SanDisk reader buys nothing at this capacity.

Best For

✓ Burst RAW shooting in a DSLR or mirrorless body
✓ 4K video recording that must not drop frames
✓ Wedding, event and sports photography where the buffer matters
✓ Cameras whose manual specifies V30 or U3
✓ Shooting outdoors in cold, wet or dusty conditions
✓ Anyone who has had a card stall mid-burst

Key Features

90 MB/s write — the fastest here
Write speed is what empties a camera buffer and keeps a 4K recording running. SanDisk publishes 90 MB/s for this capacity, half again more than the standard Extreme’s 60 MB/s, and the cheaper Ultra range publishes no write speed at all.

V30 and U3 rated
V30 guarantees a sustained 30 MB/s minimum, which is what 4K-capable cameras ask for. At 90 MB/s this card has three times that margin.

The 200 MB/s on the box is not this card
SanDisk’s Extreme PRO headline of 200 MB/s read applies to 64 GB and larger, which use a technology this capacity does not have. The 32 GB reads at 100 MB/s. The upside is that 100 MB/s fits inside the normal UHS-I limit, so any decent reader gets full speed.

Two-year recovery software included
SanDisk includes an offer for RescuePRO Deluxe with a stated two-year term — useful if a card is ever formatted by accident mid-shoot. It is an offer to redeem, not preloaded software.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it worth paying more than the standard Extreme?
If you shoot bursts, yes: 90 MB/s write against 60 clears the camera buffer noticeably faster. If you mainly record video at V30, the standard Extreme already has margin and the extra is optional.
Why is it 100 MB/s when the packaging says 200?
Because 200 MB/s belongs to 64 GB and larger. SanDisk states this in its own small print. At 32 GB the figures are 100 read and 90 write — and both fit inside the standard UHS-I limit, so no special reader is needed.
Will it handle 4K video?
Yes, for any camera asking for V30 or U3. It is not V60 or V90, so if your camera specifies those for high-bitrate 4K or 6K, it needs a UHS-II card instead.
Is 32 GB enough?
It is roughly forty minutes of 100 Mbit/s 4K, or somewhere around 1,100 24-megapixel RAW frames — our own estimate. For a day of event shooting most photographers carry several cards rather than one large one, which also limits the damage if one fails.
Singular Expert Insight
This is the fastest-writing card on the page and the one to buy if your camera has to clear a burst. The honest caveat is capacity: at 32 GB you get around forty minutes of 4K, so the card is best thought of as one of several rather than the only one you carry. Against the standard Extreme you gain 30 MB/s of write for a modest premium; against a SanDisk Ultra you gain a published write figure and a video class the Ultra simply does not have. Our other full-size cards sit in the SD cards range, and if you unload cards to a laptop often, a reader from our card readers range will get you the full 100 MB/s where a cheap one will not.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You shoot bursts of RAW or 4K video in a DSLR or mirrorless body, your manual asks for V30 or U3, and you want the fastest write speed available at this size.

Skip it if

You only need storage for a phone, a dashcam or a Switch, or your camera demands V60 or V90, which needs a UHS-II card.

Also consider

SanDisk Extreme 32GB if 60 MB/s write is enough for less, or a larger Extreme PRO if forty minutes of 4K per card is too little.
