The 1 TB Optimus GX 7100 adds fast internal storage for game libraries, applications and project files in a compatible PC or laptop. This is the bare-drive version, intended for a suitable system cooling arrangement. It combines PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe 2.0, TLC NAND and nCache 4.0, with manufacturer sequential maxima of 7250 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Confirm a PCIe NVMe M.2 2280 slot, the supported drive capacity and 2.38 mm board-height clearance. A SATA-only M.2 slot is not suitable. Peak speeds require a suitable host; older compatible PCIe links reduce available bandwidth.
