The SanDisk PRO-READER SD Express Dual Card, part number SDDR-A451-GNPNN, is a USB-C card reader with two slots: one for SD Express and one for microSD Express cards, the newest and fastest SD formats, which also read ordinary SD and microSD UHS-I cards. It connects over USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps), works with Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 hosts, and can sit as a module in the SanDisk Professional PRO-DOCK 4. In practice it offloads cards from cameras, drones and handhelds straight to a laptop or workstation.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Full speed needs SD Express or microSD Express cards. Standard cards work, but SanDisk lists UHS-I only — UHS-II and CFexpress are not listed, so check before buying for UHS-II cameras. The host link is USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps), not 20Gbps. SanDisk publishes no transfer figure for the reader itself. No card is included. Tell us your cards and we confirm.

Will my UHS-II cards work?
SanDisk lists SD Express, microSD Express and UHS-I cards. UHS-II is not listed, so do not count on UHS-II speed. For UHS-II, SanDisk Professional makes a separate reader.
How fast is it?
The reader connects over USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps). SanDisk does not publish a transfer figure for the reader itself; speed depends on the card.
Is a cable included?

Can it read two cards at once?
