SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 1TB — USB-C on One End, USB-A on the Other, 400 MB/s Read
1TB capacityUp to 400 MB/s readUSB-C + USB-AUSB 3.2 Gen 1
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go is a 1TB flash drive with a full-size USB-C connector at one end and a full-size USB-A connector at the other, so the same stick plugs into a modern phone or laptop and into an older desktop without an adapter. SanDisk publishes up to 400 MB/s read for this capacity over USB 3.2 Gen 1. Part number SDDDC3-1T00-G46NBB is the Navagio Bay colour. A swivel body rotates the drive into either connector and covers whichever one is not in use, so there is no cap to lose, and a moulded loop takes a keyring.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check these before you order. Both ends are full-size connectors — USB-C and USB-A. This is not the micro-USB drive: SanDisk still sells an Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 with micro-USB on one end, and that one fits no current phone. For phone use, the phone must support USB host mode (OTG); every recent Android phone does, as does iPhone 15 and later. An iPhone 14 or earlier has a Lightning port and will not accept this drive at all. A thick or deeply recessed phone case can stop the swivel body from seating properly in the USB-C port — if your case is a rugged one, take it off to plug in. Finally, 400 MB/s needs a USB 3.2 port at the other end: in a USB 2.0 socket the same drive runs at roughly a tenth of that. Tell us the phone or laptop model and we will confirm the port before you order.
Best For
✓ Moving files between a phone and a laptop
✓ Machines with only USB-C, and machines with only USB-A
✓ Freeing space on an Android phone without cloud upload
✓ Carrying a large media or project library
✓ A keyring drive that needs no cap and no adapter
✓ Anyone who works across mixed-age hardware
Key Features
Two full-size connectors, one drive
USB-C for phones, tablets and current laptops; USB-A for desktops, older laptops, TVs and car stereos. The swivel is the whole design: whichever connector is out, the other is tucked inside the body, so nothing is exposed and there is no cap to lose.
Up to 400 MB/s read at 1TB
SanDisk publishes 400 MB/s read for 128GB and above in this line. Below that the figure drops — 64GB is 300 MB/s and 32GB is 150 MB/s — so the speed on the box is genuinely this capacity’s speed, not a family headline borrowed from elsewhere.
1TB in 3.5 grams
44.41 × 12.10 × 8.60 mm and three and a half grams, with a keyring loop moulded into the body. It hangs off a set of keys without being noticed and holds more than most laptops.
SanDisk app for phone backup
SanDisk’s Memory Zone app (Windows 10 and 11, macOS 11 and later) can set up automatic backup to the drive. It is a download rather than something preloaded, and it is optional — the drive is plug-and-play without it.

Singular Expert Insight
The Dual Drive Go and the Dual Drive Luxe are the same idea at the same 400 MB/s: the Luxe swaps this plastic swivel body for a metal one and weighs 12.2 g against 3.5 g. If the drive lives on a keyring, the lighter plastic body is the sensible choice and the metal one is a preference. Colour is the only thing that separates SDDDC3-1T00-G46NBB from its Absinthe Green and Lavender siblings — SanDisk publishes no performance difference between them, so pick on looks. Where this line genuinely differs from the rest of our USB range is the pair of connectors: a single-ended drive is cheaper, and if you only ever use one port type, a single-connector Ultra will save you money. If the drive is going to hold a working video or photo library rather than move files, a small portable SSD is the better tool — flash drives of any brand slow down badly on long sustained writes.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You move files between a phone and a computer, or between machines with different port types, and you want one 1TB stick that fits both without an adapter. 400 MB/s read at this capacity and a body light enough for a keyring are the two arguments.
Skip it if
Your phone is an iPhone 14 or earlier — Lightning, not USB-C. Skip it too if the drive would be doing sustained heavy writes such as video editing off the stick, where no write speed is published and a portable SSD is the right tool.
Also consider
The Ultra Dual Drive Luxe if you want the same speeds in a metal body. A single-connector Ultra if you only ever use one port type. A portable SSD if the files are large and the work is continuous.
