SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 32 GB — USB-A and USB-C in 3.5 Grams
USB-A + USB-C32 GBUp to 150 MB/s read3.5 g swivel, keyring hole
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go is a 32 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive with a USB-C plug at one end and a full-size USB-A plug at the other, joined by a swivel body that shields whichever connector is not in use. It weighs 3.5 g, has a keyring hole, and SanDisk publishes read speeds by capacity — this 32 GB version is rated at up to 150 MB/s.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The 400 MB/s figure you have probably seen is not this drive. SanDisk bands the Dual Drive Go by capacity: this 32 GB is 150 MB/s, 64 GB is 300, and 128 GB to 2 TB are 400. The 400 MB/s headline on SanDisk’s own marketing is the large-capacity figure, and at 32 GB you are getting roughly a third of it. A second point worth knowing before you buy for a phone: SanDisk’s current datasheet for the Dual Drive Go lists compatibility as macOS 12 and later and Windows 10 and 11, and describes the drive for desktops, laptops and tablets — it no longer lists Android. Its sibling, the metal-bodied Ultra Dual Drive Luxe, does explicitly list Android 10 and later and names smartphones, and at 32 GB the Luxe is published at the same 150 MB/s. If the phone is the whole reason for the purchase, the Luxe is the model SanDisk actually stands behind for it, at no speed penalty at this capacity. Finally, mind the part number: SDDD3 is the micro-USB drive that fits no modern phone, while SDDDC2, SDDDC3 and SDDDC4 all have USB-C.
Best For
✓ Moving files between a USB-C device and a USB-A computer
✓ Anyone who wants the lightest possible dual-connector drive at 3.5 g
✓ Keyring carry — the hole is moulded into the swivel body
✓ Handing a file to someone whose laptop has only USB-C
✓ A modest capacity for documents and photographs rather than a media library
✓ Buyers who want a five-year SanDisk term on a dual-ended drive
Key Features
Both connectors, 3.5 grams
USB-C at one end, USB-A at the other, in a body 44.41 mm long weighing 3.5 g. It is the lightest way SanDisk sells to cover both port types.
Swivel, no cap
The body swivels to shield whichever connector is idle. Nothing detaches, so there is no cap to leave behind on a desk.
Up to 150 MB/s at 32 GB
SanDisk publishes this figure for the 32 GB specifically. Comfortable for documents and photographs; the 64 GB doubles it if you need more.
Keyring hole
SanDisk builds a keyring hole into the body — worth having on a drive this light, which is otherwise easy to mislay.

Singular Expert Insight
The Dual Drive Go is the lightest sensible way to carry both connectors: 3.5 grams, a swivel that cannot be lost, a keyring hole. At 32 GB you are buying it as a bridge between devices rather than as storage, and the published 150 MB/s is honest for that job. Two things we would want you to know rather than discover. The 400 MB/s number attached to this product everywhere is the 128 GB-and-up figure. And SanDisk quietly stopped listing Android on the Go’s datasheet while keeping it on the metal-bodied Luxe — at this capacity the two are the same speed, so if a phone is the purpose the Luxe is the safer buy at no performance cost. Both sit in our USB flash drives range. For files you work from rather than carry, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want the lightest dual-connector drive available, with a keyring hole, mainly for moving files between computers and USB-C laptops or tablets, and 32 GB is enough.
Skip it if
A phone is the main reason for the purchase — SanDisk lists Android for the Luxe, not for the Go. Or you were expecting 400 MB/s, which starts at 128 GB.
Also consider
SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 32GB for the same 150 MB/s in metal with stated Android support. The 64 GB Dual Drive Go for double the read speed. SanDisk Ultra Slider if you only need USB-C.
