The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 512GB, part number SDDDC3-512G-G46, has a USB-C connector at one end and a USB-A connector at the other, on a swivel body that keeps whichever one you are not using tucked away. It reads at 400 MB/s and holds half a terabyte, which makes it the drive to buy when your phone, your laptop and someone else machine do not agree on which port they have.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Both connectors are on the drive itself — no adapter, no cable, nothing to lose. The USB-C end fits Android phones, tablets and modern laptops; the USB-A end fits older laptops, desktops, TVs and car stereos. It is not for an iPhone with a Lightning port: for those, the Phone Drive for iPhone carries a Lightning connector instead. SanDisk publishes no write speed for this line, so 400 MB/s is the read figure only. The drive is formatted exFAT, read by Windows, macOS and Android; a few older devices want FAT32.
